Cindy Hermans

Cindy Hermans is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector, currently serving as a Senior Actuary at Achmea since November 2013. Previously, Cindy held the position of Senior Actuary at Bovemij Verzekeringen from July 2001 to October 2013, where responsibilities included product development, profit testing for damage and income products, and managing reserving and reinsurance policies. Cindy has a strong background in conducting actuarial year-end assessments, implementing Solvency II requirements, and leading a team of actuaries. Educational qualifications include a degree from the Actuarieel Instituut, a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Amsterdam, and a bachelor's degree from Maastricht University.
