Ivo Stokkermans

Ivo Stokkermans has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to data engineering and business intelligence. Ivo currently holds the position of Lead Azure Data Engineer at Achmea since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Architect & Engineer at Banketbakkerij Merba also in 2022. In the same year, they founded their own company, Data Universe, where they served as a Data/BI (Solution) Architect, Data Engineer, and Owner.

Before their current positions, Stokkermans worked at Scandinavian Tobacco Group from 2013 to 2022, holding roles such as International Lead Solution Architect BI & Analytics, Head of Information Management, and Business Intelligence Specialist IT. Ivo also worked as a Business Intelligence Software Engineer at Achmea from 2012 to 2013.

Earlier in their career, Stokkermans worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Spir-IT (via Ordina) in 2011 and at Ordina Consulting - VisionWorks from 2007 to 2012. Ivo also served as a BI Consultant at Rabobank Nederland from 2010 to 2011, and as a BI Consultant at ICTRO from 2008 to 2009. Stokkermans began their career as a BI Consultant at vts Politie Nederland in 2007.

Ivo Stokkermans obtained their MSc degree in Communication Studies from the University of Twente, graduating in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a BICT degree in Bedrijfskundige Informatica from Fontys University of Applied Sciences, completing their studies in 2004. Additionally, they participated in a workshop called Mastering DAX, but no start or end years were provided for this experience.
