Nynke Hupkens-Sipma

Nynke Hupkens-Sipma has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Nynke has been a Member of the Advisory Board at the European Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration since 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Achmea from 2006 to 2015, holding various roles including Director of Legal Affairs and Company Secretary to the Executive Board. Nynke also worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at Achmea, providing legal advice on corporate law matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters. Before joining Achmea, they were a Senior Associate at Dijkstra Voermans Advocatuur & Notariaat from 2001 to 2006 and a Legal Advisor at Deloitte from 1997 to 2001.

Nynke Hupkens-Sipma completed a Master's degree in Civil and Corporate Law from the University of Groningen from 1991 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended the University of Galway in 1995-1996 where they studied Law.
