Raoul Berkelmans

Raoul Berkelmans has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Raoul started their career as a Trainer/Coach at Basketball Vereniging W.S.C. in 2006 and later served as Penningmeester/Treasurer at the same organization. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Repetitor Corporate Finance at Capita Selecta Studieondersteuning, where they aided students in passing their exams. In 2012, they took on the role of Scriptant at BDO Nederland. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Research Assistant at Radboud University Nijmegen, assisting a sustainability-focused research project. Raoul served as Commissioner External Affairs and Editor of Synjaal at Synergy, Study Association Business Administration Nijmegen. In 2013, they took on an internship role as a Product Management Intern at Van Lanschot Bankiers. Since 2014, Raoul has been associated with Achmea, holding several positions including Financial Management Trainee, Advisor Finance & Control, Business Controller, Financial Consultant, and presently as the Head of Finance & Operations at Achmea Reinsurance.

Raoul Berkelmans has a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from Radboud University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Business economics track from the same university, from 2008 to 2011. Raoul completed their high school education and received an overall diploma from d'Oultremontcollege from 2002 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained the certification for WFT Basis in the year 2014.
