Mohamed Nabil Hamed has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Mohamed is currently working as the Head of Marketing at Acino since March 2020. Previously, they worked at Takeda as the GI Franchise Lead, where they were responsible for the P&L for the Gastroenterology franchise and setting the sales and marketing strategy. Before Takeda, they held the position of Group Product Manager at Takeda as well.
Prior to their time at Takeda, Mohamed worked at AstraZeneca as the Regional Senior Brand Manager for Gastroenterology and as a Senior Brand Manager. Their responsibilities included developing marketing plans, managing budgets, and creating promotional tools for the Nexium product.
Mohamed also gained experience at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, where they worked as the Neuroscience Business Unit Manager, managing the sales team and being responsible for the financial KPIs. Mohamed was also involved in the launch and establishment of the Hikma Neuroscience Unit in Egypt. Before this role, they served as the CNS Product Manager at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, where they oversaw various product launches in the CNS field and set marketing objectives for continuous growth.
Earlier in their career, Mohamed worked as a Product Manager at Delta Pharma, a Product Specialist at Lundbeck, a medical representative at AstraZeneca, and had a part-time role as a Medical Representative at Novartis.
Mohamed Nabil Hamed completed their Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, from 2000 to 2005. Mohamed then pursued an MBA in Marketing & HR at The German University in Cairo, from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended primary and preparatory school at Lycee El Horreya De Maadi from 1988 to 2000.
