Achsah Thomas, LMSW, currently serves as a Mental Health Therapist at the New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) since May 2023, and as a Clinical Social Work Intern at the Ackerman Institute for the Family since September 2020, co-therapizing within the Social Work and Diversity Program. Previously, Achsah worked as a Clinician at The New York Foundling from August 2021 to May 2023, focusing on Child Welfare and School-Based Mental Health. Experience also includes clinical social work internships at Walt Whitman High School, where Achsah facilitated counseling and coordinated various support programs, and at Scan New York, offering after-school activities and tutoring for at-risk youth.
