Genoveva Garcia Lcsw

Genoveva Garcia, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in individual, couple, and family psychotherapy. Since August 2014, Genoveva has maintained a private practice and has also served as a family therapist at Freedom Institute since August 2017, focusing on families dealing with substance misuse and addiction. Genoveva is part of the clinical and teaching faculty at Ackerman Institute for the Family and has held positions as an intake coordinator. Previous experience includes providing psychological counseling to college students at Lehman College and coordinating intake processes at Metropolitan Center for Mental Health. Genoveva's educational background includes a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from ITESO.
