Melinda Doty

Melinda Doty is a seasoned educator with extensive experience at East Carolina University, currently serving as a Senior Teaching Instructor and Secretary of the Faculty in the Department of Technology Systems within the College of Engineering and Technology since August 2001. Melinda teaches courses in Microsoft Office, Technical Writing, Technical Presentations, and computing concepts, and has held various roles including Teaching Instructor, Student Services Coordinator, Academic Advisor, and Office Assistant. In addition to academic responsibilities, Melinda collaborates with Cengage as a Faculty Partner, providing mentorship and training to faculty at colleges and universities across the nation on learning platforms and remote education. Melinda's educational background includes multiple degrees from East Carolina University, including a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Communication.
