Rocío Merino Pérez

Rockie C. currently serves as a Program Manager at Lonza, where responsibilities include directing multidisciplinary project teams for clinical manufacturing of biologics and fostering global collaborations. Prior to Lonza, Rockie held the position of Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., focusing on the development of genomics-based diagnostics and contributing to first-author peer-reviewed publications on biomarker discovery. Experience also includes roles at Senti Biosciences as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II, leading gene therapy initiatives in collaboration with Roche companies. Rockie's academic background features a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
