Heather Ayer

Heather Ayer is a skilled campaign coordinator with extensive experience in political organizing and community engagement. Currently serving as a Campaign Coordinator at the ACLU of Kentucky since July 2020, Ayer previously worked as a Field Organizer for the Warren for President campaign, where responsibilities included community outreach and event planning in Iowa. Ayer has also held roles such as Deputy Finance Director for the Rocky for Kentucky Gubernatorial Race and Field Organizer for Amy McGrath for Congress. A background in education is reflected in previous positions as a Head Start Teacher and Teach For America Corps Member, alongside early career experiences in organizational roles at Make-A-Wish South Carolina and the NESA Center for Strategic Studies. Ayer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Political Science from Furman University.
