Keturah Herron

Policy Strategist at ACLU of Kentucky

Keturah Herron serves as a Policy Strategist at the ACLU of Kentucky since 2019, focusing on lobbying for criminal and juvenile justice reform and elevating community leadership. Previous experience includes roles as a Work Readiness Coordinator at YouthBuild USA/SummerWorks in 2018, where Keturah developed work readiness programs for youth, and as a Court Designated Specialist at the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts from 2016 to 2018, managing youth complaints and diversion agreements. Earlier positions include work in juvenile detention and residential counseling, along with various coordinator roles supporting at-risk youth and addressing racial disparities in the juvenile justice system. Keturah holds a Master’s degree in Corrections and Juvenile Justice from Eastern Kentucky University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration and Marketing from the University of Louisville.
