Tanisha Humphrey is an experienced advocacy and project management professional with a diverse background in grassroots mobilization and public policy. Currently serving as the Grassroots Advocacy Manager at the ACLU of Northern California since December 2019, Tanisha has previously held roles such as Independent Consultant at Include Consulting and Project Director for the Black Talent Initiative at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. Tanisha's extensive experience includes managing national campaigns at Population Connection, improving agency performance at the U.S. Department of Labor, and promoting reproductive justice through strategic media engagement at ConwayStrategic. Tanisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Georgetown University, as well as leadership credentials from the American University School of Public Affairs, and has participated in international educational experiences in Spain.
