Ana Mendoza serves as the Education Equity Project Director at ACLU SoCal, leading a team focused on ensuring equitable school resource distribution and advocating for the rights of marginalized students. With extensive experience in policy, legal, and community-based advocacy within K-12 public education, Ana has held various titles at ACLU SoCal, including Senior Staff Attorney and Statewide Education Equity Team Co-Lead. Prior to ACLU SoCal, Ana worked as an Associate at Alexander Krakow + Glick LLP, addressing employment law issues, and accumulated legal experience through internships and clerkships with organizations such as MALDEF and InnerCity Struggle. Ana holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a specialization in Critical Race Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Macalester College. Additionally, Ana is a licensed realtor with eXp Realty, eager to assist clients in achieving their real estate goals.
