Jacob Reisberg

Jacob Reisberg is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in public policy and advocacy. Currently serving as Policy Counsel and Jails Conditions Advocate at the ACLU SoCal since September 2019, Reisberg has a strong background in the judicial system, having held clerk positions at the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals. Previous roles include Staff Attorney at the Water Protector Legal Collective and Legislative Counsel for the New York City Council. Reisberg began legal career at the Federal Trade Commission in the Office of Chairwoman Ramirez. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Grinnell College.
