Brigitte Amiri

Deputy Director, Reproductive Freedom Project

Brigitte Amiri currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Reproductive Freedom Project at the ACLU since April 2005. Prior to this role, Brigitte was the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Law Students for Reproductive Justice from June 2011 to May 2015. Academic experience includes positions as an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School from August 2011 to December 2012 and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hunter College in September 2008. Earlier in Brigitte's career, a role as Staff Attorney for the Foreclosure Prevention Project at South Brooklyn Legal Services occurred from October 2002 to April 2005, and a Fellowship Attorney position was held at the Center for Reproductive Rights from August 1999 to October 2002. Brigitte Amiri earned a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University in 1996.
