Jonathan Topaz is a seasoned legal professional with a focus on voting rights, currently serving as a Staff Attorney for the ACLU Voting Rights Project since November 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, and serving as a Skadden Fellow at the ACLU Voting Rights Project. Jonathan's legal journey began with internships at the Office of the New York State Attorney General and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. Complementing a robust legal background, Jonathan also has experience in journalism and communications, having worked as a National Political Reporter at POLITICO and as a speechwriter for the NYS Department of Health.
