Mariana Bustamante is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human rights and immigration advocacy. Currently serving as Area Director at the National Human Rights Commission in Mexico since November 2010, Mariana Bustamante has been instrumental in developing innovative programs addressing the needs of migrants on both sides of the border and serves as a liaison with non-governmental organizations in the United States. Prior to this role, Mariana Bustamante worked as Education Coordinator for the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project from 2002 to 2010 and as Development Associate at Global Exchange from 1999 to 2002. Mariana Bustamante holds a degree from U.C. Berkeley.
