Mark Buhrmester is an experienced fundraising and development professional with a strong background in leadership giving and political fundraising. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Leadership Gifts at the ACLU since March 2017, Mark previously held the position of Deputy Director of Leadership Giving at Baruch College from November 2014 to March 2017. Mark has also worked as Director of Development and Major Gifts Officer at the NYC Anti-Violence Project from July 2011 to November 2014, and as Manager of Political Giving at Planned Parenthood North Central States from December 2008 to July 2011. Early career experiences include serving as Programming and Communications Director at the Associated Students of the University of Missouri from November 2006 to December 2007. Mark holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
