Shira Harary

Shira Harary, LMSW, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Associate Director of Legal Operations at the ACLU since October 2022, following a role as Operations Manager at Heterodox Academy from July 2020 to October 2022. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Producer at Gum Zoo Pictures, Director of Admissions and Campus Operations at Philip Berley Preschool of the Arts, and Financial Controller at Hand Safe USA. Shira also held roles at Camp Zeke, Mount Sinai Health System, and Children’s Aid, among others. Shira Harary earned a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Educational Studies from Brandeis University, supplemented by education at the University of Otago and Hillel Yeshiva High School.
