Jay Cagatay has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Jay started their career at Seven Network in 2010 as a Producer and Journalist for Sunrise. Jay also served as a Supervising Producer and Chief Editor for Sunrise Extra during the same period.
In 2012, Jay joined Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia as a Producer and Presenter for PopAsia. Jay stayed with SBS until 2014.
From 2013 to 2014, Jay worked at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as a Producer, Editor, and Talent for #7DaysLater and Fabled.
In 2015, Jay joined Foxtel as a Producer, Writer, and Talent for Open Slather and The Slot. Jay stayed with Foxtel until 2017.
From 2017 to 2018, Jay worked at News Corp Australia as a Video Producer. Jay was later promoted to the role of Senior Creative Producer and served in that position until 2022.
Currently, Jay is employed at ACM as the National Video News Director, starting in October 2022.
Jay Cagatay obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Media & Communications (with a major in Theatre & Film) from UNSW from 2005 to 2008.
