Alex Zhang is an incoming Software Engineer Intern at Ramp, starting in September 2024, focusing on the Data Platform. Previously, Alex interned at Roblox during the summer of 2024 in Foundation AI and Experimentation, where responsibilities included constructing data pipelines and deploying microservices. In the summer of 2023, Alex worked at DoorDash as a Software Engineer Intern, building services to detect library/package defects and integrating various APIs. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate research internship at UCSD Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab, where Alex utilized NVIDIA Warp and Python to develop simulation environments and convert point clouds into 3D representations. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
