Don Scipione

President at Acme Express

Don Scipione is the current President at Acme Express. Don has also been an Associate Professor of Physics and Computer Science, Project Manager, and Research Physicist in the past.

Scipione designed the computer science curriculum and computer lab as well as developing and teaching the Physics for Biologists course at Notre Dame College from January 1981 to December 1986. Don was also responsible for implementing truck loading and routing software for Leaseway Transportation from January 1981 to December 1982. At Acme Express, Inc., they managed software development and manufacturing operations for high energy physics experiments.

Graduating with their research in the Piccioni High Energy Physics group, Don Scipione has made many notable contributions such as using nuclear levels to study the properties of fundamental particles, asymmetries of an anti-matter, mirror-image universe, production of a neutron beam, measurement of the neutron rich nuclear surface, and regeneration of neutral K-mesons.

Don Scipione earned a BS in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Ph.D. in Experimental Elementary Particle Physics from UC San Diego. Don also attended Cathedral Latin School and St. Ann.
