Hannah Richardson has extensive work experience in design and communication roles. Hannah started their career as a Graphic Designer at the National Gallery of Victoria in 1999, where they worked until 2001. Hannah then joined Blue Boat Design as a Graphic Designer for a year. In 2004, they joined ACMI - Australian Centre for the Moving Image as a Graphic Designer and later became the Head of Design from 2006 to 2007. Hannah then started their own design business, Hannah Richardson Design, in 1999 and served as the Director until 2003. Hannah returned to ACMI in 2009 and held various positions including Senior Designer, Design Manager, and currently serves as the Head of Communication Design.

Hannah Richardson pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art at the University of Melbourne from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they completed their Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Graphic Design from Swinburne University of Technology, which they attended from 1995 to 1998.
