Maria Sousa is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in global marketing and communications. Currently, as the Director of Global Marketing & Communications at Acolad Group since March 2021, Maria oversees international marketing strategy across North America, Europe, and key global markets, managing a diverse team of over 30 marketers. Previously, Maria served as Marketing Director at AMPLEXOR International, where responsibilities included building global marketing functions and executing data-driven strategies for demand generation. Maria's career began at Portugal Telecom, encompassing various roles from Senior Digital Marketing Manager to Editorial and Marketing Assistant, which provided a solid foundation in digital marketing, brand management, and editorial strategy. Maria holds a graduate degree in Law from the University of Lisbon and a post-graduate degree in Communication Law from the University of Coimbra.
