Nick Solly

Nick Solly has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Chief Technology Officer at MOHARA, where they are responsible for building innovative tech products for start-ups and delivering digital strategies. Nick also holds the position of Partner at the same company. Prior to this, Solly served as Chief Technology Officer at Acolyte Health, Founder of sudofox Ltd., and Chief Technology Officer at Quick Release_.

At Quick Release_, Solly had multiple roles, including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Associate Director, and Business Leader. In these positions, they were involved in various aspects of business development, such as securing new clients, managing client relations and contract negotiations, and driving the company's growth. Nick also had managerial responsibilities, overseeing a team of direct reports and serving as a location manager. Additionally, Solly worked on special projects, supervising a team focused on digital tool/system design and creation, and developing a new area of the business providing Engineering Change Management consultancy services.

Additionally, Solly has held roles as Head of UK Innovation Lab at ALTEN LTD - UK, Director at Stigma Statistics, and supported the Penlon Team at VentilatorChallengeUK. Furthermore, they gained experience as a Stage Technician at The Green Room Venue during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Nick Solly's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at King Edward VI Aston School for Boys. Nick pursued A-Levels in Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Music until 2007. Following this, Nick attended the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Nick has also completed several certifications. In October 2010, they obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation certification from ILX Group. In September 2010, they completed courses in Communication & Influencing and Effective Presentation Skills through Associated Training and Consultancy. Nick further expanded their skill set by becoming a Certified ScrumMaster in May 2016, certified by the Scrum Alliance. Continuing their professional development, Nick completed the Train the Trainer course offered by PTP - Practical Training for Professionals in October 2011. In December 2018, they obtained certification in The Complete Node.js Developer Course (2nd Edition) from Udemy.

More recently, Nick pursued additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In September 2019, they completed the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion training offered by the Centre for Strategy and Communication Ltd. Nick completed Suicide Awareness Training through the Zero Suicide Alliance in July 2020. Lastly, in October 2022, Nick obtained a certification in Information Governance: HIPAA from Pluralsight.
