Scott Swisher has a strong background in finance and real estate, with experience in underwriting, valuation, and consulting. Scott began their career as a consultant at BearingPoint, Inc. in 2003 before moving on to a role as a Senior Financial Analyst at Freddie Mac in 2005. Following this, they worked as a Manager at Actualize Consulting, specializing in the secondary mortgage market. In 2009, Scott joined The Lighthouse Group as an Analytics Associate, where they performed valuation and due diligence on potential multifamily acquisitions. Scott then moved to George Smith Partners, where they served as an Assistant Vice President, underwriting over $500 million of debt and equity financing for commercial real estate assets and securities. Scott later joined Starwood Property Trust in 2011 as a Vice President, responsible for managing a team of associates and completing underwriting and closing of first mortgage and mezzanine loans. Scott currently holds the position of Managing Director at ACORE Capital, where they continue to contribute their expertise in real estate finance.
Scott Swisher obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from James Madison University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued higher education at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, completing their Master of Business Administration from 2008 to 2010. Their MBA specialized in the fields of Finance and Real Estate.
