Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Director of Analytics at Acorn Finance since March 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at OneMain Financial, including Manager of Credit Pricing Strategy & Analytics and Manager of Portfolio Analytics. Prior to OneMain Financial, Sean worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Mufson Howe Hunter & Company. Sean also gained experience as a Financial Analyst at Trinity Wall Street, a Senior CDO Analyst at Fortress Investment Group, and an AERS Senior at Deloitte & Touche. Sean began their career as a Programming Coordinator at Lehigh University and interned at Air Products in the Energy and Process Industries department.

Sean Murphy earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Lehigh University from 2002 to 2007, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering from the College of Business, specializing in Integrated Business and Engineering.
