Sheng Liang

Cofounder and CEO at Acorn Labs

Sheng Liang has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several notable companies. Sheng is currently the Cofounder and CEO of Acorn Labs since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member and later as the President of Engineering & Innovation at SUSE from 2020 to 2022. Sheng Liang was also the Co-founder and CEO of Rancher Labs from 2014 to 2020, where the company was acquired by SUSE. Before that, they worked as the CTO of Cloud Platforms at Citrix Systems from 2011 to 2014, and as the Founder and CEO of Cloud.com from 2008 to 2011 (acquired by Citrix). Sheng Liang has also held roles at SEVEN Networks, Inc., Openwave Systems Inc., Teros, and Sun Microsystems Inc. throughout their career.

Sheng Liang received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale University from 1990 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Science and Technology of China, where they attended from 1983 to 1988.
