Shashank Samala

Shashank Samala is the CEO and Cofounder of Heirloom, a company dedicated to promoting a carbon negative society since April 2020. Prior to this role, Shashank served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Carbon180 from April 2020 to April 2021, focusing on learning before making commitments. From November 2013 to April 2020, Shashank was the Cofounder and VP of Product at Tempo Automation, where the company developed an advanced software-driven electronics factory in San Francisco, facilitating rapid production of custom circuit boards for various high-tech applications. Earlier in Shashank's career, involvement with Square Inc. in a marketing capacity occurred during 2011-2012. Shashank holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and completed secondary education at Bangor High School.
