Rob James

Senior Vice President Enterprise Business Solutions at Acosta Group

Rob James has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Rob has worked for Acosta Group since 2021, first as a VP IT and then as a VP Business Solutions. In these roles, they acted as a bridge between business units and technology solutions, providing guidance and direction to optimize technology investments and meet business needs.

Prior to Acosta Group, Rob worked at Impact Group from 2017 to 2021, serving as the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and later as a VP Business Solutions. In these positions, they were responsible for planning and executing cross-functional projects, developing solutions for business problems, and overseeing all aspects of IT operations.

Before joining Impact Group, Rob worked at Harlow-HRK Sales & Marketing, Inc. from 2002 to 2017. Rob held multiple roles, including VP Business Solutions, VP Marketing & Analytical Services, Director of Category Development, and Category Development Analyst. In these positions, they focused on strategic marketing, brand identity, customer relationship management, and category development.

Rob's earlier work experience includes roles at Store Door Merchandising Inc as a Division Retail Manager and Retail Sales Associate, as well as at Thomas J. Lipton Co. as a Retail Sales Rep.

Rob James holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing from Cedarville University. Rob also completed high school and obtained a High School Diploma from Abington Heights High School. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including the NextUp Active Advocate and Beyond Allies Certificate of Completion from NextUp, as well as a Decision-Making Strategies certification from LinkedIn.
