Harry de Vries

Harry De Vries is an accomplished professional in the field of ophthalmic technology, serving as the Founder of Acoustic Insight since January 2020 and the Director of Product Development at Cassini Technologies B.V. since May 2015. At Cassini Technologies B.V., Harry De Vries oversees the Global Product Roadmap, collaborating with leading cataract surgeons in both the US and Europe to enhance surgical outcomes through innovative solutions. Prior experience includes roles as Product Development Manager and Project Manager at i-Optics BV, where Harry De Vries contributed to groundbreaking products for the ophthalmic market, and as Product Group Manager at Topcon Europe Medical BV, where several innovative ophthalmic instruments were developed. Earlier in their career, Harry De Vries worked as an Optical Engineer at ADC, focusing on advanced telecommunications technology, and served as ICT Manager and Optical Engineer at Altitun AB. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biomedical Physics from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Photonics from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
