Maximilian Korten

Maximilian Korten began their work experience in 2014 at EY, where they worked as an IT Risk & Assurance professional. In 2015, they joined the Institute of IT Security Research as a Research Assistant. From 2017, they worked at ACP IT Solutions, first as an Information Security Consultant and then as the Chief Information Security Officer.

Maximilian Korten holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Information Security from Fachhochschule St Pölten, which they completed from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in IT Security from the same institution, attending from 2012 to 2015. Maximilian completed their secondary education at HTL St. Pölten from 2006 to 2011, receiving a Matura degree in EDV & Organisation. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including the ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate from PeopleCert, Zertifizierter Datenschutzbeauftragter DSB-TÜV from TÜV SÜD, Zertifizierter Information Security Auditor and Zertifizierter Information Security Manager from CIS, and Zertifizierter Risikomanager für die Informationssicherheit nach ISO 27005 TÜV from TÜV Austria.
