Bobbie Mesa, MSHRM, PHR has extensive experience in human resources management. Bobbie currently holds the position of VP, People and Culture at Acqualina Resort and Spa on the Beach since February 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of People at Virgin Hotels from 2019 to 2020, and as the Director of Human Resources, USA at d.ream (Doğuş Restaurant Entertainment and Management) from 2017 to 2020. Bobbie has also held positions as the Director of Human Resources at Acqualina Resort and Spa on the Beach from 2016 to 2017, as well as at ZUMA Restaurant from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they have experience as a Human Resources Manager at Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa from 2010 to 2012, and at The Alexander Hotel from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their managerial roles, Bobbie worked as a Senior Staffing Coordinator at Hastings & Hastings, Inc from 2000 to 2006.

Bobbie Mesa, MSHRM, PHR, has a strong educational background and several certifications in the field of Human Resources. Bobbie obtained their Masters degree in Human Resources Management from the Florida International University - College of Business from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Bobbie earned a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Miami in 1999. Bobbie also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University.

In addition to their academic achievements, Bobbie has obtained several certifications to further enhance their HR expertise. Bobbie earned the Certified Strategic HR Partner certification from AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR in November 2020. In February 2017, they obtained the Predictive Index Certification from The Predictive Index. Furthermore, Bobbie holds the prestigious Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which they obtained in January 2008.
