Leysi Rizo Salas has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities.
In 2007, they started their career as an Assistant Professor and Researcher at Polytechnic University, J. A. Echeverria, after graduating in 2007 in B. During this time, they gained teaching and research experience.
From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Researcher at the University of Cantabria, where they were involved in projects for Acorde Technology, a leader in RF solutions in Spain. Leysi focused on designing and implementing emerging wireless transmitters architectures and analyzed statistical circuit and device simulations.
In 2012, Leysi Rizo Salas returned to Polytechnic University, J. A. Echeverria, as an Associate Professor and Researcher. Leysi became the leader of the Radio Frequency Laboratory and Wireless Communication Research Group, managing over 100 telecommunication students and 20 Communication Systems Master aspirants. Leysi directed several projects, including designing RFID systems and active devices in the UHF band.
In 2016, they briefly worked as a Sales Engineer at NCM Supplies Inc., where they utilized their technical expertise in the sales domain.
Since 2019, Leysi Rizo Salas has been working at ACR Electronics, Inc. as an RF Engineer. In this role, they handle sales, accounting, and services coordination, as well as IT development and support. Leysi also manages various office operations.
Leysi Rizo Salas has a strong educational background in the field of telecommunications and electronics. Leysi began their academic journey in 2002, studying at POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY J. A. ECHEVERRIA in Havana, Cuba, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications and Electronics in 2007.
Building upon their foundational knowledge, Salas pursued a Master's degree in Communications Systems at the same institution from 2007 to 2010. During this period, they delved deeper into the study of emerging wireless transmitters architectures, gaining expertise in this field.
In 2010, Salas expanded their educational horizons by enrolling at the UNIVERSITY OF CANTABRIA. Here, they obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology and Mobile Communications Networks between 2010 and 2012. Leysi'sfocus remained on emerging wireless transmitters architectures and switched mode power amplifier design.
Reinforcing their passion and commitment in the field, Salas continued their studies towards a PhD in RF System Design and Implementation at POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY J. A. ECHEVERRIA in Havana from 2009 to 2013. Leysi'sresearch concentrated on the aforementioned areas of interest, further honing their expertise.
Throughout their education, Salas has consistently demonstrated a dedication to learning and a drive to explore and advance their knowledge in the field of telecommunications and related technologies.
