Lisa Dunn Alford (She/Her)

Lisa Dunn Alford has a strong background in the field of health and aging services. Lisa is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at ACR Health since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Commissioner at the Onondaga County Department of Adult and Long Term Care Services from August 2015 to June 2021. Lisa also worked at Onondaga County, where they served as the Executive Director of the Office for Aging, and later as the Commissioner of Aging & Youth from January 2014 to August 2015 and April 2007 to December 2013, respectively. In their earlier career, Lisa Dunn Alford served as the Child and Youth Services Director at P.E.A.C.E., Inc. from 1996 to 2007.

Lisa Dunn Alford (She/Her) has a diverse education history. Lisa obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Public Administration from Syracuse University - Maxwell School, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Later on, they pursued an Executive Certificate in Public Policy Institute with a focus on Juvenile Justice and Child Welfare: Multi-System Integration at Georgetown University in 2013. In 2003, Lisa completed a Certificate in The Head Start Johnson & Johnson Management Fellows Program from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree (MA) from The Ohio State University between 1985 and 1987. Lisa's undergraduate studies took place at Hampton University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA) from 1981 to 1985.

Additionally, Lisa has obtained several certifications. Lisa obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. In April 2021, they received a Lean Data Approaches to Measure Social Impact certification from Acumen Academy, and in March 2021, they obtained a certification in Adaptive Leadership from the same institution. Furthermore, Lisa holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency, Audiology, which was obtained in June 1987, although the institution where they obtained it is not specified.
