Corey Salyards

Corey Salyards has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Corey began their career at The Fresh Market, where they served as a Department Manager for eight years. In this role, they worked closely with store managers and assistant managers to create a customer-focused environment. Corey also assisted in the employee selection process and prioritized daily responsibilities while training and coaching employees.

Afterward, Corey joined Laser Refrigeration Co., Inc. as an Office Manager. Here, they were responsible for quoting customers for service work, invoicing, facilitating timely payments, ordering parts, issuing purchase orders, tracking expenses, and handling payroll and basic bookkeeping. Corey held this role for six years.

Currently, Corey is working at ACR Supply Co. Here, they have held various positions, including Store Sales Associate, Assistant Business Unit Leader, Business Unit Leader, Regional Business Unit Leader, and Assistant Director of Operations. Recently, they were promoted to the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the overall operations of the company.

Corey Salyards has a comprehensive education history that includes both a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering as well as ongoing studies in Business Administration and Management. Corey attended Lucy Ragsdale High School from 1998 to 2002, focusing on a general course of study. Following high school, Corey pursued higher education at North Carolina State University from 2002 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.

In 2021, Corey began attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. This program is expected to be completed by 2024.
