Sharif Touny

Sharif Touny has extensive work experience in the mortgage industry, spanning from 1994 to the present. Sharif is currently working as the Vice President- Area Sales Manager at Acra Lending, where they lead and manages sales in the Non-QM Wholesale and Correspondent lending programs. Before this, they worked at Sprout Mortgage as a Regional Sales Manager, overseeing a team and achieving top performance in the company. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Account Executive at Franklin American Mortgage, generating wholesale loan business in the LA County market. Additionally, they served as the Director of Default-Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, Mediation, Mortgage Insurance at Carrington Mortgage Services, where they led the operation of the default servicing platform. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Fremont Investment and Loan, successfully developing broker bases and regions and maintaining strong relationships with brokers. Sharif also worked at Citigroup as a District Manager, where they turned around a poor-performing district and later served as a Branch Manager, overseeing the largest consumer finance branch office in California. Overall, Sharif Touny has a wealth of experience in sales, management, and business development in the mortgage industry.

Sharif Touny completed their high school education at the American School of Kuwait from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a high school diploma. Afterward, they pursued further studies at the University of California, Riverside from 1990 to 1994. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
