Lynda Deakin

Lynda Deakin is an accomplished operating partner at Acre Venture Partners since January 2023 and serves as a strategic advisor for Sunnyside (formerly Cutback Coach) since March 2022. With nearly 25 years at IDEO, Lynda held various leadership roles, including Partner and Executive Director of Health, where oversight of IDEO's largest revenue-generating business in North America was established. As Partner and Managing Director of the Food Studio, Lynda expanded IDEO's offerings to address systemic issues in the food sector. As a co-founder of IDEO's Food & Beverage practice, Lynda advised clients on strategic business decisions. Lynda's career commenced as an industrial designer at IDEO London, ultimately building extensive expertise in product and experience design. Lynda earned a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Product Design from Northumbria University.
