Vasilis Chrysikopoulos is an experienced Egyptologist and archaeologist with a robust background in research and academic instruction. Since 1997, Vasilis has served as an independent researcher at Museums and Collections and has held roles at various institutions, including the Acropolis Museum as an Archaeologist-Host since 2009 and the Hellenic Society for the Study of Ancient Egypt as President of the Board and Co-founder since 2009. Vasilis worked as a Scientific Consultant at the Grand Egyptian Museum from 2019 to 2020 and has contributed to the field as a tutor of Egyptian Hieroglyphs at the Benaki Museum from 2013 to 2015. Academic contributions include a lecturer position at the University of Ioannina, where courses on Egyptology were taught.
