Devon Scoulelis is a co-founder and CEO of SOUS, a platform that allows consumers to experience premium meals and products from top culinary creators anywhere in the country. Prior to this role, Devon worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Antler. Devon also served as the Global Head of Innovation Hubs at HiiL and was responsible for developing justice innovation hubs across emerging markets. Devon co-founded the Orenda Foundation and served as a Co-Founder until 2021. Devon was the Founder and Group CEO of Chicken Xpress, a multi-national franchise brand based in South Africa. Devon also worked as a Growth Partner at The Big Box Co, where they partnered in the development of a shopping center built from shipping containers to support local entrepreneurs. Devon has previous experience as a franchisee and business owner at Kauai and Taco Zulu, respectively. Devon began their career as a Regional Manager at vida e caffè.
Devon Scoulelis began their education at Glenwood High School from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a High School Diploma. In 2003, they attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Management. In 2019 and 2020, Devon pursued additional studies in Global Social Entrepreneurship at Philanthropy University and Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets at Harvard Business School Online. In 2020 and 2021, they attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a course called U.Lab: Learning from the Emerging Future. In 2021, Devon also completed a program in Adaptive Leadership at Acumen Academy.
