Fabien Venries is a seasoned professional in data governance and protection with extensive experience at Orange since 2014, currently serving as Data Governance Manager, Data Protection Officer, and Responsible AI Officer. Venries has led the implementation of GDPR compliance across multiple affiliates and managed personal data protection policies within the newly established Data & AI division. Additionally, Venries is co-chairman of the Trust & Data Club at ACSEL, providing insights on trust and security in data management for French corporations. Other notable roles include software development at Sobabyfoot.com and a history of project management at Orange in various capacities related to API services, marketing, and privacy initiatives. Venries holds a master-like degree in Product Marketing and an engineering diploma from ENSICAEN.

L’ACSEL, L’association de l’économie numérique, réunit les acteurs engagés dans la transformation digitale. Fondée il y a trente ans, l'Association regroupe aujourd'hui près de 200 entreprises, organismes publics de tous les secteurs et partenaires et œuvre à leur mise en relation. Lieu d'échange et de propositions, les travaux de l’ACSEL abordent les enjeux du numérique à travers trois lignes directrices : anticiper, développer et mesurer.
