Alberto Macedo

Alberto Macedo is currently the Coordinator of the Tax Reform Working Group at the São Paulo Municipal Finance Secretariat and serves as a professor at various institutions including Insper and FIPECAFI. A graduate of the University of São Paulo with degrees in Law and a PhD in Economic, Financial and Tax Law, Alberto also holds an MBA in Tax Administration. With experience spanning over three decades, they have served as a Municipal Tax Auditor, former Secretary of Municipal Revenue of São Paulo, and a Marine Officer in the Brazilian Navy. Alberto is a member of the Council of High Studies of Finance and Taxation of the São Paulo Commercial Association and actively participates in national tax reform discussions.
