Glenn Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Glenn is currently working at ACT Power Services, where they hold the roles of Senior Director of Field Support Services and previously served as the Senior Director of Field Operations and the Director of Operations. Prior to this, they worked at Cypress Creek Renewables as the Manager of the Special Projects Group and Regional Manager. Glenn also held the positions of Reliability Engineering Technologist and O+M Field Service Technician at the same company. Before joining Cypress Creek Renewables, Glenn worked at Baker Renewable Energy as a Construction Manager, where they managed the field operations and maintenance of solar installations and led service calls and new system installations. Glenn also worked at Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer as a Senior Counselor and Sailing Instructor.
Glenn Fitzgerald attended Raleigh Charter High School from 2005 to 2009. Glenn then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Appropriate Technology at Appalachian State University from 2009 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Glenn obtained the sUAS Level I Thermography certification from the Infrared Training Center and the 14 CFR Part 107 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2017. Additionally, they obtained the NABCEP Entry level PV and NABCEP Entry Level Solar Thermal certifications from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners in 2013. Other certifications include Level II Thermographer, NFPA 70E, OSHA 3095 Electrical Standards, OSHA 30Hr General Construction, Operation and Maintenance for Power Xpert Solar 1500/1670/2000 kW Inverters from Eaton, SELU Protection Relay Basics, and TMEIC SolarWare Operations and Maintenance Training from TMEIC.
