Miranda Russell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in humanitarian and development sectors. Currently serving as the Resilience and Recovery Technical Coordinator for the Whole of Syria at Acted since March 2024, Miranda has previously held various roles at Open Society Foundations from September 2018 to February 2024, including Policy and Research Officer, Senior Project Head, Project Head, and Program Specialist. Additional experience includes positions at Global Communities as a Program Impact Analyst and Development Consultant, a Consultant Media Analyst at Novetta, and internships with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, WANA Institute, and Collateral Repair Project. Miranda holds a Master of Science in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Eastern and North African Studies from Pitzer College.
