Sophie Duc

Sophie Duc has extensive experience in the literary and publishing fields, currently serving as Responsable de la collection Babel at Actes Sud since June 2019. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as a freelance translator for English to French literature from September 2012 to June 2019 and undertook various writing commissions, including biographies and testimonials. Additional experience includes editorial responsibilities at sun/sun éditions and Le Chant du Monstre, where Sophie co-founded a literary review and managed editorial coherence. Sophie has also engaged in press and public relations for various publishers, including Éditions de l'Ogre and Éditions Impeccables. Sophie holds a Licence bidisciplinaire in Lettres modernes and Anglais LLCE from Université Lumières Lyon 2 and received training at École des Métiers de l'Information.
