Cheryl Pruitt

Cheryl Pruitt has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cheryl began their career as a Home Based Therapist at Pleasant Run Children's Home, where they conducted assessments, provided counseling, and attended court appointments. Cheryl then moved on to work as a Healthy Families Coordinator, supervising a team and coordinating services for community-based health care workers. Cheryl later worked at Abbott Laboratories as a Cardiovascular Specialty Rep, marketing drugs to doctors and launching new products. Cheryl also served as a Realtor at New Millennium Realty, where they marketed properties and trained new realtors. Cheryl worked at LifeLink Foundation as a Hospital Sales Rep, promoting ortho-biologic products and providing educational programs to hospital personnel. At Stryker, they worked as a Spine Device Sales Rep, maintaining relationships with surgeons, assisting with surgeries, and solving problems. Cheryl then joined CGI as a Consultant - Business Development, conducting sales calls and managing national campaigns for IT Electronic Medical Records solutions. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care, where they oversee the growth and expansion of the business.

Cheryl Pruitt received their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 1996. Cheryl then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the same institution in 1997. Cheryl's educational focus within social work included management and administration in healthcare.
