Kalyan Kumar

Kalyan Kumar is a Board Member at Actian. Kalyan was previously with HCL Technologies from May 2005 to September 2012, where they were the AVP & WW Head - Cross Functional Services. Kalyan was responsible for Business & Service Delivery for the following areas: Enterprise & Service Mgmt Platform Practice, ITSM Process Engineering Practice, IT GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Practice, IT Architecture & Standards Group, and Integrated Command Center Practice & Shared Services Platform. From June 2002 to September 2003, they were with HCL COMNET LIMITED as Technical Marketing Manager, responsible for technical sales/sales engineering for the Telecom Service Provider and Contact Center Solutions. From September 2003 to May 2005, they were Solutions Architect Manager with HCL COMNET LIMITED (HCLT-ISD). Kalyan was Principal Consultant - NSIG with HCL COMNET LIMITED (HCLT-ISD) from September 2000 to June 2002. Prior to that, they were with Digital Equipment India as Systems Engineer from June 1997 to August 2000.

Kalyan Kumar completed a certificate in finance for non-finance executives from the London Business School. Kalyan then went on to earn a certificate for introduction to quantum computing from MIT xPRO. After that, they earned a certificate for quantum algorithms, security, chemistry, and optimization from MIT xPRO. Kalyan also holds an EE degree from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy. Furthermore, they have a high school diploma from DeNobili, CFRI, Digwadih, Dhanbad. Finally, they have several additional certifications, including ones from the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, 1st4sport Qualifications, Trinity College London, and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
