Erkka-Pekka Kytölä

Erkka-Pekka Kytölä has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Erkka-Pekka began their career at Elekmerk Oy in 2007 as a Production Operator, specializing in CNC machining for aluminum profiles and parts. Erkka-Pekka later worked as an Assembler in 2009 before taking on the role of Production Supervisor in 2010, where they were responsible for planning, coordinating production, and managing purchasing and CNC machining.

In 2011, Erkka-Pekka joined Elekmerk Oy as a Special Project Coordinator, focusing on implementing new layouts for production facilities and improving production process flow through a 5S project.

Erkka-Pekka then moved to Medix Biochemica in 2012, starting as a Production Engineer and later becoming a Production Supervisor. Their responsibilities included production planning, organizing and executing development tasks, and validating and qualifying production processes and equipment.

In 2019, Erkka-Pekka transitioned to Actim - Part of Medix Biochemica Group as a Plant Manager, where they managed and led the production team and manufacturing site of rapid tests. Their role involved developing operations, enhancing manufacturing site and lines, improving cost efficiency, and maintaining employee satisfaction. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Production, overseeing the production team, procurement team, and the manufacturing site of rapid tests. Erkka-Pekka is responsible for managing, leading, and budgeting the teams and ensuring production processes meet required quality standards.

Erkka-Pekka Kytölä completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karelia University of Applied Sciences. Erkka-Pekka attended the university from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Keuruun lukio from 2003 to 2006, but no degree or field of study information is available for this period.
