Gajanan Dewkar

Gajanan Dewkar is an experienced professional in radiopharmaceutical product development, currently serving as Associate Director and previously as Manager at Actinium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since August 2018. Dewkar specializes in the development of radiolabeled antibodies for cancer imaging and therapy, focusing on processes involving SPECT (I-131) and α-emitter (Ac-225) drugs, while also managing tech transfers for injectable radiotracer production under cGMP. Prior to this role, Dewkar was a Senior Radiochemist at SOFIE from August 2015 to June 2018, where expertise was applied in developing a range of radiolabeled agents for PET and SPECT applications. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2009 to 2015 and as a Senior Research Fellow at the National Chemical Laboratory from 1998 to 2004.
