Scott Wolckenhauer

Scott Wolckenhauer is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in process chemistry and drug development. Currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Process Chemistry at Actio Biosciences, Inc. since December 2024, Wolckenhauer previously held the position of Senior Director of Drug Substance Development at Roivant Sciences from March to November 2024. Prior roles include Senior Director and Head of Process Chemistry at Ventyx Biosciences and a long tenure at Gilead Sciences, where positions ranged from Research Scientist to Senior Director of Process Development. Wolckenhauer began a career in research at RTI International and advanced academic training culminated with a PhD in Chemistry from UC Irvine, complemented by an AB in Chemistry from Duke University.
